After researching timeline which details some of the key events in Typography from 1800B.C, my ideas was taking inspiration by innovation of key historical points. 

At my first sign, sans serif typefaces seems were born by serif that's also reason why I chose one typeface from serif then I cut it out and combined to sans serif. Honestly, there is the first poster of Typophilia festival.

To the second poster, I used a system of writing in the ancient Middle East, it named Cuneiform. Actually that's one of the earliest examples of writing know to us. I created this typeface look like missing font and the first hand-writing fonts would be appeared. 

And this is the third one. 

I also used two typeface looks contrast and display the innovation of historical Typography such as ancient hand-writing font and digital computer font.

For two brochures, I just picked up 4 letters T Y P O and play with it. Honestly, I layout some more informations, the details of Typophilia, the typographic festival.
